Online Application Request Forms
To submit a permit request to Madison County Building Department select a form listed below. First time users will be redirected to a "Create Account Page" and you must create an online account to view and/or submit an application. Once an account is created you will need to login in, select form, complete required information and submit. Please keep a record of your login information as you will need it for future use.
Once a form is submitted, it will be reviewed for approval and staff member will contact you with status, fee amount and instructions on how to complete your permit process. Applications received after 2:00 PM will be processed on the following day.

A department staff member will contact you with required information to make a payment. Project address, permit number and payment amount will be needed.

Cash, Check or Credit/Debit Cards accepted. A convenience fee of 3% or $1.00 (whichever is greater) will be added for all E-Check and credit/debit card transactions made in person, online or by phone.
